Why do I travel solo?

When I was a child our pool would slowly get that slimy algae buildup from no filtration. Now some kids would be grossed out. But not this girl. I would stretch those too tight rubber band goggles of pain and imagine I was Jacques Cousteau exploring the great Oceans of the world.

My entire life I have had this need for adventure. From my backyard swimming pool to the Indian Ocean I have dived in and explored. And despite my being married the majority of my travels have been solo. I have friends who ask.. what? how? could? you? why?

Why? Because my schedule and my kind of travel don’t always mesh with my spouse. Simple as that. IMG_20180824_180237-576x432

Maybe there are other females out there like me. Who are happily married but who also enjoy the solo journey? Or maybe you are a single person out there adventuring it up?
